I stumbled across this listing:

http://www.atvtraderonline.com/listing/2006-POLARIS-RIDGE-RUNNER-101341743

Its something called a RidgeRunner. Some company in Idaho startedmaking them with the Polaris Ranger 800cc Injected motors. They're 4x2, but with a tubular frame, 13.5" of travel front & back, and 18" of clearance . . . but the center of gravity is lower than a RZR.

Anyone heard of them before? I read a few forum entries about them, most people love them for anything other than mud & snow (no 4x4). They say the speed is the same as a RZR, but with WAY better suspension & looks.

This one's used for $8k! They were $21k new. Apparently, the company is out of business now.

Reading some more. The complaints are for maintenance - shredding CVT belts, and very difficult access for oil changes, etc.

Almost looks like a Redline Revolt.

Wow. Real decent suspension!

Here's another, with some dune action starting at about 0:30

Does pretty good for a 2 wheel drive.
