I've come to the conclusion that the red cut off switch is what's causing one of the YFZ 450s to occasionally not start.
Is it easy to jumper,, or should I replace It?

Easy replacement but you could take it apart, clean/sand all the connection and it should work fine again. I've done it to several of mine before with no issues.

I wouldn't jump it (One more thing to go wrong). Do what B_G suggested, mine has done it to me, usually after a crash when it acts up.. if that doesn't do the trick. Replace the OEM switch.

I never use mine. It is always in the ON position.
I use the key to turn it off.

But I know that the '04 was packed with sand when I took it apart.

I say clean it out, clean the contacts an see if that works.

If not, get a new switch.

Pack the inside with Di-electric greese to keep the contacts lubed and sand out.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

I don't spend the extra money on di-el, regular grease will do.

I've been telling y'all for a while, Naty Ice, 6%. For every 2 I drink a water. Same effect, half the price. :drink2

That's code for cheap, but I appreciate the sensitivity EJ. Maybe next time it's cold at the dunes we can spoon instead of having to run the heater.
