The new main engine mount for my old car broke and after waiting 3 weeks for a new one from Prowlers, (out of stock) it does not fit. They say it is the only size they have made, but bring it back and we will try and help you.

Oh no, that's not good. Can you add new tabs to either the mount, engine or frame?

No, not without taking the car almost down to a bare frame.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully Prowlers can help you out. If they can't do you have to have one custom made?

I just got back from Prowlers and they kept the old one and are sending it back to there suplier. The stock was 1/4 inch short. Check back next week.

Ah.... Reminds me of the Mars Climate Orbiter. Their "Supplier" must be NASA. Was that metric or standard measurement on the holes?
THE space orbiter lost as it neared Mars after travelling 416 million miles in nine months came to grief because of a simple mathematical error, it was revealed yesterday.
A mix-up over converting acceleration figures from English to metric measurements meant the craft probably got too close to Mars.

Welding shop could fix you up in 20 minutes. If it's steel, I would fix it.

A trip to a steel yard and some labor and we'd have it done in no time.

Its made out of Aluminum and that blend is hard to weld(cracks next to the weld)

Titanium or Carbon material would do it. With a little money, anything is possible!!
